Be better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today.”

~ Lorenzo Snow

When we make the decision to improve ourselves each day, we are not only expanding our mind but our experiences. Our power lies in our awareness and willingness to grow, learn and be in touch with our true selves.

When we are open to improvement, we open the floodgates of getting to our highest good and highest potential.

Reminding you today, to ask yourself; How can I be better today? What would make me happy today? How can I be more peaceful, more fulfilled, more of service? Then begin the process of doing the things that help you grow.

You are NEVER stuck – you can always make another choice to expand and be energized by life’s possibilities.

Universe: May I Have this Dance?

Your Daily Inspiration:

Image

Inspired By:

Consciousness orchestrates its activity in responses to both attention and intuition. Whatever you put your attention to, becomes ‘energized’. Whatever you take your attention away from dwindles.” ~ Deepak Chopra

Image

Our thoughts have great power and the rhythm of the Universe is just waiting to dance with us. The picture we hold in our mind and believe either energizes us, moving us forward in joy and creation, or drains us keeping us stagnant, anxious, and even moving backwards.

The evidence is all around us that our thoughts create our reality.

Reminding you today, to be aware of the quality of your thoughts. Throw away the one’s that are not making you feel good and not allowing you to live your best life. They do not serve you and they are not even true.

Each day create a new “I AM…”, a powerful statement declaring who you really are and BELIEVE IT. “Get in the rhythm and dance to the songs the Universe is waiting to play for you.”

Letting Go of Judgements

Your Daily Inspiration:

Image

Inspired By:

I love when things are transparent, free and clear of all inhibition and judgement.”

~ Pharrell Williams

Image

Getting on the ‘judgement of self’ train can only cause a wreck. We can be triggered and run down the checklist of perceived mistakes which does nothing but get us off track. The truth is there are no mistakes, only experiences. We did the best we could at the time, with the knowledge we had.

Reminding you today, as you grow older, your lessons grow. Your judgements and perceptions are just thoughts. Give yourself credit for knowing more now; you know better, you do better.

Elevate your thoughts, let go of the attachment to the past. I heard something so profound once and it stuck with me: ‘If you bring in an unhealthy judgement of a past situation you are blocking the opportunity for a healthy situation.’ Definitely an AHA moment. Sitting in past judgement while trying to create in the now, is counterproductive, make sense?

Give yourself the FREEDOM of letting go of what is weighing you down or holding you back so you can be free and clear to have clarity in the now.

Allow Yourself to Receive

Your Daily Inspiration:

Image

Inspired By:

We are rich only through what we give, and poor only through what we refuse.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Image

The Universe operates in cycles similar to our inhalations and exhalations. When we only exhale (give), or only inhale (receive), we become out of rhythm with the Universal laws. Most of us give without thought, it is receiving that we may not allow as generously.

Reminding you today, to allow yourself to receive. There can be a block in receiving stemming anywhere from not wanting to ask for help to not feeling deserving.

Be aware of all of the gifts you receive on a daily basis to get you in the habit of flow; the beautiful tree on your walk, a kind gesture, an awesome hug or the warmth of the sun shining on your face.

Keep your energy flowing, inhaling, exhaling…aligning with abundance. You deserve all good.

Daily Affirmations with Louise Hay

• It is okay to ask for help. I give help when others need it, and I ask for help when I need it.

• Life supports me in every possible way.

Changing Our Habitual Thinking

Your Daily Inspiration:

Inspired By:

Thoughts are mental energy; they are the currency you have to attract what you desire. You must learn to stop spending that currency on thoughts you don’t want, even though you may feel compelled to continue your habitual behavior.” ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer

Image

We are creatures of habit and habitual thinking is no exception. It is scientifically proven when we have the same thoughts over and over we create a groove in our brain, a pathway if you will, where these habitual thoughts become a go-to and flow more easily and freely.

We can begin asking ourselves, are they productive? Are they elevating us? Are they moving us forward?

How to stop a habitual thought? First awareness, then intention of the new thought, and the mindfulness to change the thought if an old one tries to sneak in.

Everything you create starts with intention and that includes how you choose to think. If you are beating yourself up, rehashing old situations or projecting old thoughts to what’s happening now – Stop – and create a new thought followed by your new powerful intention.

When we change the way we think, everything changes. If you want to learn about this, and more, a great movie to watch is ‘What the Bleep Do We know?’

Reminding you today, you can create a new path for a new way of thinking (and yes, that is scientifically proven as well).

Write Down Your Dream Day

Your Daily Inspiration:

Inspired By:

You are the author of your life. If you don’t like how it goes, write it differently.”

~ Iva Kenaz

Image
We are energy and are powerful co-creators. One way to keep ourselves focused is to bring those thoughts into the physical by writing them down. Write down your perfect day, exactly what you want in great detail. Write in past tense as if it’s already happened. You are essentially journaling what you want in the gratefulness of its arrival into your life. This is such a great way to harness your thoughts and keep them consistent.

Write freely without editing what you think can actually happen. This is YOUR dream day. It’s a fun and powerful exercise that allows you to bypass any blocks you may have set up subconsciously in creating the life you want.

Even if you question the validity of this practice and want to write it off as an imaginary game – TRY IT and feel the shift as you are writing all of your wishes and desires that have been delivered. You’ll find yourself smiling when you add in those delicious details.

Reminding you today, you deserve the life of your dreams. Place your order with the Universe.

Our Attitude Controls Our Life

Your Daily Inspiration:

Image

Inspired By:

Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working 24 hours a day, for good or bad. It is of PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE that we know how to harness and control this great force.” ~ Irving Berlin

Image

Attitude is everything. Look at people, places and things from a perspective of appreciation with love and acceptance. Look for things that are good and right in situations and people and focus on the ‘value’ as opposed to the irritations.

Reminding you today, to focus on the beauty in the world, in your world, there is so much of it. Focus on what you can do today. “Be Too Blessed to be Stressed.” My wise Mom always reminds me; “Before you speak, run it through your heart first. Focus on the GOOD, because there is always something good to come from every situation.”

When we lead with our loving attitude we set the stage for gracious, loving, peaceful experiences.

Daily Affirmations with Louise Hay

• Gifts of kindness, love and appreciation are the greatest gifts we can give. I now share my good with others.

Taking Control of What is Stressing You Out

Your Daily Inspiration:

Image

Inspired By:

No one can create negativity or stress within you. Only you can do that by virtue of now you process your world.” ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer

Image

We really know how to work ourselves up, don’t we? We essentially torture ourselves with negative chatter and imagined fearful scenarios, then push ourselves even further with a hurried pace and an overconsumption of news in an effort to feel informed; we then wonder why we’re stressed, filled with anxiety and pretty much exhausted both mentally and physically.

Reminding you today, your body and mind feel so much better when you are peaceful. Nothing outside of you has any power over you unless you allow it. ENJOY each moment where you are. Slow down, take a breath, give yourself a Zen moment. Be in gratitude for what you have and joyful for the clarity of what you want to create.

Process your world through your own loving, peaceful filter – from a place of trust in your self, your higher power and the Universe.

Patience is Trusting the Outcome

Your Daily Inspiration:

Image

Inspired By:

“Patience is not passive, on the contrary it is active; it is concentrated strength.”

~ Edward George Bulwar-Lytton (1803-1873)

Image

Patience is a virtue and one that needs practice. In our hurried atmosphere we can get almost anything we want, and fast, with a snap of our fingers or a click of a button. We are so used to instant gratification that when we don’t get it quickly it can cause anxiety, frustration and even anger.

Reminding you today, your patience is action. You can be powerful without being forceful. Patience is being accepting, generous and kind with the feelings of others. Exercising the art of patience is understanding what someone else might be going through, with compassion. Most of all, being patient with yourself as you grow, learn and evolve.

Patience is trusting the outcome. Love yourself with the peaceful gift of patience.

The Way You Respond Can Change a Situation

Your Daily Inspiration:

Image

Inspired By:

“Our reaction to a situation literally has the power to change the situation itself.”

~ Unknown

Image

The only thing we have control over is the way we react or respond and our reactions are largely based on the ‘peace’ we feel inside. When we are highly frustrated, angry, impatient or in judgement, we act different, right?

Reminding you today, to notice what your initial reaction is. Be an observer. What about the situation is charging you, bugging you and making you feel like you want to react. This is a great moment of self discovery, an opportunity to see what needs attention to be healed inside.

Take a moment to ask yourself what your response can be to help diffuse the situation. Center yourself with a daily routine that brings you calmness and tranquility. You can choose to be peaceful inside no matter what is going on around you.

Your power is in your response.
