This year has certainly brought some major anxiety triggers. Add in the responsibilities and the random pop ups and we are left susceptible to feeling overwhelmed and submerged in negative feelings.

Depending upon how long we let it go, the stress is soon running the show. In all of the internal chaos, we have forgotten the most important thing…how BLESSED we really are.

It is necessary that we have a daily practice to balance us and feel peaceful inside. Chaos, whether from our inside thoughts or outside sources, can cause our emotions to fly around uncontrollably. 

When we are stressed, we must remind ourselves to mentally challenge it ‘without emotions’ keeping core thoughts strong, knowing the Universe is always working in our favor, always for good.

Reminding you today, when you do your daily mindful practice, it makes it easier to not feel drained or pulled off-center. This seems like common sense but when you are knee deep in the quicksand of emotions, it is a great reminder that you are one thought away from your peaceful balance, a clear mind and operating from strength.

We all do it at some point or another, we search outside to validate ourselves. There’s an inner critic that does a pretty good job of infusing doubt, has us questioning decisions and messes with our view of self.

If we compound those thoughts and memories over years of reflection we can find ourselves with a loop of thoughts that are making us feel less grounded and certainly less powerful, in fact darn right power-less.

Reminding you today, to validate yourself! When you seek validation or ‘value’ outside it doesn’t stick for long – you feel it for awhile but then it wears off and you’re back in your own thoughts, off searching again for approval.
