Positive words and thoughts release endorphins and serotonin and make us feel good. To the contrary, negative words and thoughts release the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline which have negative impacts on the body. While we may feel vulnerable to the thoughts that pop up, we are in control of the one’s we choose to focus on and repeat.

Reminding you today, what you say to yourself repeatedly becomes a belief. Your thoughts about self are creating how your mind and body feel. Your self talk is building your self worth. I know it sounds funny but, you are the one that is having the most conversations with yourself, so speak lovingly, be supportive and uplifting. Hold space for yourself with compassion and give yourself credit. Know the truth of how special and capable you are and let your thoughts reflect that.
